Lee F. Thompson, 50, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Friday, May 10, 2002, at the home. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Simmons Funeral Home. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Cremation. Mr. Thompson was born July 9, 1951, in Kansas City, KS. Lee was a diesel mechanic for Santa Fe Railroad and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include three sons, David Thompson, Jacob Thompson and Matthew Thompson of Lathrop, MO, his mother and father, Patricia Thompson and Leroy Thompson of Kansas City, KS, a sister, Pamela Knight of Louisburg, KS, a brother, Kenneth Thompson of Leavenworth, KS.
