Fall 1993 - It's been few years since getting a tattoo, so when my friend
Brian brought up the subject, I decided what the heck. He heard good
things about East Coast Al's in Kansas City, KS. More
precisely, he heard good things about
Cat Spencer and
Victor Whitmill.
Back when I got my first tattoo, I wanted a skull with a sword through the top
of it's head. But silly me, since I didn't see that design on the wall
when I got my first tattoo, I didn't think I could get it. This time
around, I was going to get that design. I talked with Cat about what I
wanted, and he whipped up this little gem. This was my first tattoo (of
many to come) by Cat. The idea came from a hardcore band in the 80's
called The Lead, who had a sticker with the same kind of logo that said
"Kill Satan". They also had a song called, "Kill Satan Mosh", which
used to get some airplay on Z-Rock's "Headbanger's Heaven" show.
