The Tall Man

Summer 2001 - It's no surprise to people who know me, that my favorite horror movies are the Phantasm series, particularly the first two.  Angus Scrimm plays the character of a mortician, called "The Tall Man", who has his minions exhume dead bodies and ship them to another world to be his slave.  For those who are alive and run into him, they seldom escape his flying sentinels.  These flying metal orbs track down their victims and plunge themselves into said victim's forehead with sharp blades, drill into their skull and proceed to drain them of their blood.  It's good old fashioned family entertainment.  This piece shows The Tall Man holding one of his balls (sorry, couldn't resist...hehe), Morningside, and a couple of his Jawa looking creatures (only one is visible in this picture).  Everyone has their favorite horror star/character, whether it's Bela Lugosi/Dracula, Lon Cheney/Werewolf, or Michael Jackson/ummm...well, Michael Jackson.  Mine just happens to be "The Tall Man".
