doorbell about 2:00 this afternoon. Jon
has a key, so it wouldn't be him. Chris
is in town, so I thought it may be him. I peek out the bedroom window and see a
couple guys in front of the house. I don't see any cars in the driveway, so it's
obviously solicitors of some sort. I go back to bed and forget about it.
Later when I wake up and get ready for work, I check my mail. That's when I find
a flyer/brochure sticking in the screen door for some local Democrat running for
the Missouri Senate (I think that's what it was). I'm glad I didn't answer the
door, although it would have made an interesting conversation.
Sorry, but I'm not voting for someone who's party is pro-choice, anti-gun,
against tax cuts for all income earners, supports the welfare state, not onboard
for the war on terror, etc. Liberals in general will not be receiving my vote
this November. The only Democrat I have voted for was Howard Dean back in the
Missouri Primary....just to be an asshole :)
note to self: Get a Bush/Cheney 2004 sign to stick in the front yard.
Maybe that'll keep those fuckers away.
